The Sweet Escape.

i tried to donate blood today and sigh, almost couldnt find a vein for them to poke. but YES!the nurse did manage to squeeze out one tiny vein on my right arm and said" abit small but can la". i managed to pass all the test prior to the haemoglobin test where i failed, coz i had low iron count as i was on my 4th day of my *ahem*.hhha.sian!couldnt donate again. i remember the last time i tried to donate my blood platelets for a friend's uncle at SGH, i happily went there and the doctor said "oh my god, i cant find your vein" and so cannot donate lor.aye.wierd. i work out yet my veins not obvious. no good no good.

my engine lecture was one of the most boring lectures ever today. wasted 1 hour looking at how a baby pram is designed and for the tutorial, i had to sit through and listen to how a helicopter is made and how the design allows it to turn left,right,front,back with ease.hhha.fell asleep during that portion.really couldnt help it.

went for muay thai trg in the evening, supposed to run at the track and only sunny,zhi hao and i turned up for training!so pathetic=(

ran 10 rounds.good run,havent had one in ages, did some abs-breaking exercises till i felt as if my abs would tear.hha.and did pull ups!more than i do in climbing.goodness.i almost died.sunny also died assisting me!!!went to climb for a while after the PT, did a few routes and i managed to complete the route i set on monday!yayy!finally!was super satisfied when i managed to do it after a thousand and 1 attempts. middle right finger is inflamed at the middle joint=(sigh.had to start taping it again before i could climb. prayin hard that it heals by this sat;s mock comp. i cannot even crack my knuckle like how i always do.sad.

hmmm.im very thankful i managed to get that worry off my chest today. managed to talk it out with him and yes.feeling much better=)sweet.

Tired but enjoying it.

A week has passed since i last blogged!wow.much has happened. changes have occurred in my life. more pleasant than normal=)

Sunday, during service, Pastor Jonathan was in the midst of ending the service and he said that he felt God telling him there were people in the midst of the congregation with a problem on the upper left side of the body, which meant neck down to the waist la.and my heart stopped, coz i had a left shoulder injury a week ago, which was still hurting, pst jon urged whoever had that problem to step forward to be prayed for, and i did!in Faith=)went forward and he and the other church leaders prayed for us. felt a warming up sensation with my left arm feeling hot and heavy during the prayer and as pst jon ended the prayer, my arm miraculously felt lighter!!!didnt really feel the healing effect yet, because the pain only comes when i climb. and so the next day, Mon, was training. managed to go through the whole training without my shoulder hurting as much as last week~just felt a little tight. but i was able to do pull ups again!something which i could not really do last week!PRAISE THE LORD=)

woke up at 10am today only to realise i had overslept!i was supposed to have a project presentation at 10am today!and i COMPLETELY FORGOT!i jumped out of bed when cara called me at 10.18 and realised the big BOOBOO!!goodness. never in my life have i forgotten a tutorial.siighh.but theres always a first time!hhha.thank goodness, our tutor approved of the progress of our project so far.want to do well in it!!

and yes!i got my official driving license card!hha.so happy. not that i look fantastic in the photo, but soo nice, the greenish card and all. and best of all, it says "you are licensed to drive vehicles in the following classified:9

Class 3.motor cars!!!=)

hmm.thinking of adding more classes to this card. but yea.slowly.bike next?!?!i know germaine and a whole lot of people might prob kill me. im still thinkin!dont worry!!hhha.but then again, its been my dream to ride a SCRAMBLER!!!ayee.nvm.dreams are free arent they=)

went for muay thai and it was good!good workout!hha.though i kept getting punched in my eye.AGAIN!SIGHH.i super hate getting hit in the eye, be it soft or hard.and thank God i didnt get kicked in my shin today. probably coz i forbade anyone to kick me in the shin.hha.the guys gave the "WHAT!?!" look when i told them cannot kick when i spar with them.too bad for them.

went to climb for a lil while. and it was a much better climb, better than last nights where after PT i could hardly climb half the wall.had subway again with jansen and bernard.




-found this picture of a jack russell puppy which i found ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE.it put an instant "awww" and smile when i saw it!ahh.i remember when i was young, i used to tell my friends, i wld marry the guy who gave me a dog. but now when i think back. goodness.how dumb of me.like that, some old man give me dog means i must marry him!?!?hha.how can.

Oh well.

i guess i have come to a point where anything bad that happens, its the 'oh well" mentality that i carry with me. "oh well, God has good plans for me" He promises in the bible.

not only injured my shoulder, but managed to give my middle finger a lil blood clot underneath the skin. hurts when i press it now. after work today at CA, went to climb light, and realised my shoulders still hurt when i do spanned and powerful moves.sigghhh.i need stronger shoulders,they are broad,fat and useless!hahaha.oh well..

kang came to climb with me.hha.not bad, he has the makes of a climber!he managed to do drop knees, dynamic moves and changing of legs without much difficulty!!good job!=)lester and keng seng "dropped by". they were supposed to climb, but lester spent all his money on an ipod touch, and keng seng lent all his money to lester to add to his money to buy the touch.groanss.those two.hha.so in the end, no more money to climb!!!nvm, nxt week i will make them climb.

and the most disgusting thin happened today!!i was walking to my toilet when i saw a fly flying towards me, and the nxt min, it went into my eye!i almost DIED!so gross, thank God i was one step away from the basin, i rushed there in 0.01 seconds and saw the fly stuck in my eye!i was soo horrified, i quickly washed my fingers, took my lenses out and washed them thoroughly, and splashed my left eye with water continuously till they stang. it was one experience i will never forget. goodness. the fly must have been cock eye to fly right into my eye!!!super uber grosss!!!!i hope i dont get any infection man. who knows where the fly has been to.eeeeeyuckkkks!!

AND i cannot join Gravical!!=(as an intermediate catagory climber. jensen told me apparently, they are going by the old rules where as long as one has been a national climber before, cannot join intermediate cat, must go open where i STILL SUCK. and coz i used to be a speed national climber, im not eligible for the intermediate cat. darnn.was soo looking forward to this competition. but never mind, i see my injuries, and at least i got more time to train for Boulderactive in March!!=)siiighhh, oh well.

did a good 30min run today, air was cool and light!i never felt soo fresh during runnin for a long time. rewarded myself with a cup of my favourite champagne grape red tea bubble tea with pearls!!hha.i know. the run is useless with the amount of calories in the bubble tea. but it is what allows me to enjoy bubble tea without worrying abt the xtra cal!=)

alrites. im off.long day ahead. with lessons starting form 10-6pm non stop.i hate thursdays.groannn

strained my shoulder on Sunday during the Invitational Bouldering Competition at Climb Asia. very very fun routes. but still weak.haha.but i enjoyed climbing those routes!

went to climb with jansen for a while today aft my class.kesheng,heng hong came along a lil later. shoulder still a bit weak. but not hurting much anymore.happy!!had fun setting routes for them and seeing them suffer!muahhha.finally went for Muay Thai trg once again. felt weak and noob coz they were having a Muay Thai recreational course as well. did abit of sparring and pad work. and my shins are full of bruises again=(

had subway!for the first time since the start of 2009!haha.i remember i used to get a lil sick of subway last yr, when i stayed in OKR. every dinner or lunch was Subway. but now i miss it!

IN REMEMBRANCE OF....

i just lost my pet mouse CHOCOLATE.

mum got home to find chocolate's cage on the floor, and chocolate gone. saw a cat in the house. must have gotten in through the window which i stupidly forgot to close!arghh.i HATE MYSELF!

mum told me the cat was found under my bed. it was a stray.had the cheek to come up the the 2nd floor. and we found bloodstains on my parent's bed along with cat fur and pawprints.

and till now, i cannot find chocolate.

i am gona miss chocolate for:

1)the time she escaped from her cage at Eusoff Hall, had to make Allan Alex help me move my fridge coz i was afraid she was stuck inside, and she ran out and hid inside the table. which i couldnt get through. i panicked for the whole night, laid lil crumbs of biscuit all over the floor hoping i would catch her back. for one whole night, i couldnt sleep properly. when i woke up in the morning, and prepared myself to go to school, i reached out for my shoes and Chocolate popped out from my shoe!just like it was her own nest.managed to put her back into the cage

2)the times she used to keep regina and myself awake all night with her constant knocking of her water bowl. she would bite the bottle cap which was her water bottle and knock it on all 4 sides of the cage in the wee hours of the morning.as though she was a drummer.

3)the time she didnt panick or make a sound when a cat came in to visit her. i left my room door open in Eusoff, and the cat which i always fed came into the room like a boss, and tried to reach her paw into chocolate's cage. chocolate didnt make a noise and just stared at the cat like an old friend.

4) the times she would lick food off my fingers, everything i ate she ate.that spoilt mouse.

5)the times i could only let her run in her ball around OKR was when Regina was not in the room. coz Reg doesnt like animals.

6)the time japheth bought a running ball for chocolate. she was so excited. only she was a little too light to roll it properly.

6)was even contemplating how celebrating her birthday this July, supposed to turn 2 years old.

i am desperate

not for anyone

but for my VOICE!

spent the whole of Sat doing CNY visitations with my cell group.had lotsa fun. but was pretty much deprived of all the new year goodies=(((((

stacy and the rest did a super fantastic job at keeping the bak gua,cookies,chocolate,ice cream,etc away from me at every house we went to!but i managed to sneak a few into my mouth!and thats why i still dont have my voice back lor.sigh

anw, had a good lunch at Ikea first and we played with all the face masks!!




haha.i super like the dog mask.super realistic huh!!=)

went to 4 houses, this year abit little. i remember last time, we wld chiong to every house, and each time we can close like at least 6-7 houses.and our ang bao collectiong naturally increases la!ha

aft service today, went to town, ran quite a number of errands!!did my brows, bought my mascara, and even had time to trim my fringe!yay!ok.i know my hairstyle is boring.always the same.thinking of curling my hair.hmmm.should i?=)

drove dad's car all the way to bugis to pick my sis up and to bedok to my aunts hse. i kinda felt insulted coz my dad had his hand on the handbrake most of the time!haha.groans.am i that dangerous a driver????i strangely felt good during the times he put his hands on his lap. no where near the handbrake!!haha.

oh wells, the cny week has come to an end. back to sch and tutorials!!booo.

oh yea.there will be a muay thai signing up session tomorrow at mpsh!i forgot which one.but yea for those who are interested in MUAY THAI in NUS!do drop by=)starts at 6.15pm!
